• Every Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm: Trailhead Community Market brings you food and craft vendors at the Mandeville Trailhead, accompanied by a food-focused sister market on Lafitte Street.​ 

• Every Saturday at 7 pm: Chafunkta Brewing Company presents free live music for all ages.

• Every Wednesday at 6:15 pm: Walkers and runners are welcome at the Wednesday Walk/Run Club. Meet at the Trailhead to start the run.

October 2026

• Thursday, October 8, 7:30 pm: The Covington Concert Band celebrates American composers from George Gershwin to John Williams at the Castine Center in Pelican Park. The free concert is in honor of America's 250th birthday.

• Bird-watching at Fontainebleau State Park: Saturday, October 10, 8 am. The Pelican Park Nature Club meets near the splash pad and leads a monthly educational 90-120 minute walk to discover different species of birds. Binoculars are provided, and the only cost is the $3 entry fee for the state park. 

• Saturday, October 10 at 6:30 pm: The Dew Drop Jazz & Social Hall in Old Mandeville hosts New Orleans Legends featuring Wendell Brunious. Saturday, October 24 at 6:30 pm: boogie-woogie and blues pianist Tom Worrell at The Dew Drop.

• Sunday, October 18 from 11 am to 3 pm: Mandeville Artists Guild Art Market at the Trailhead features music, food, and creative pieces from local artists to admire or purchase. (Future Art Market dates are November 8 and December 13.)

• Mandeville Live! continues the fall series of free live music at the Trailhead on Fridays at 6:30 pm. Four Unplugged plays on October 23 and world-touring Mandeville native Amanda Shaw brings her fiddle on October 30.

• Saturday, October 24 at 4:30 pm: Sunset Symphony on the Lake featuring the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and the Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestra. This annual event is a well-attended fall favorite for Mandeville residents. Don't forget your chairs and snacks.

• Saturday, October 31, 11 am to 7 pm: Widewater Music & Art Festival helps you celebrate Halloween with free music all day on multiple stages at the Mandeville Lakefront. The music is complimented by a variety of food trucks and artists booths.
